I'm wondering how one can view comps as part of the hard earned money (and not cuz comps feels good).
I just started counting a couple weeks ago and I have only a little experience of real casino play, but I feel like going through the fluctuations and not earning the comps is a bit of a waste.
It is advised not to apply for a player's card etc and stay invisible to the casinos. I totally agree with that, esp. as I don't think I'm good at acting or camouflaging.
However, with the limited size of my bankroll (<10k) it seems that the comps might be comparable if not more than the expected win?
Is there a way to estimate the potential value of the comps and incorporate those into the analysis for 'win' rate? (i.e. sort of winning a tiny bit while actually losing)
I guess it depends on the casinos, but how my local casinos rate the plays and the relevant rules etc are unknown to me yet.
Thank you.
