Vegas in a week...

Taking a trip soon with the wife in tow. Question is: what are some good OFF THE STRIP local type joints for me to count while she plays slots. We have never ventured out to the "local" places before (been downtown of course). I have heard the machine games are better and some of the table rules more favorable. Since she plays nothing but slots, I figure any increase in HER chances is a big increase in MY ev.

Any suggestions, maps, or directions would be appreciated.
