variations battle

Lets say i begin very good SD (for example 5SD)
Math says that i have very good probabilities to get negative SD next round

But if my friend started very bad SD (-5SD)

Math says that he has very good probabilities to get positive SD

But if the next round i play with him,i put bets same boxes as he does.
What will happen? Is there will be variations battle?
