A. Each 4 and 5 counts +1 each. Each Ace counts -1 each.
B. Start running count at zero (no true-count conversion).Bet table minimum.
C. When running count (RC) reaches +16, double or triple your bet. As long as the RC stays above 16 and you win that hand, keep adding more chips to your bet. If you lose the hand but the RC is still +16 or higher, bet the same as previous hand. If RC drops below +16, go back to your table minimum bet. Don't worry about surveillance or heat, they will probably think you're another crazy gambler (and maybe you are!)
D. When RC drops to zero or goes negative for 2 or 3 hands, leave the table if possible and find another freshly shuffled shoe.
E. Play perfect basic strategy with only one exception: When RC reaches +16, stand on any 16 vs dealer 10.
Never take insurance.
F. Try to range your bets from at least 1 unit to 10 units or more.
G. That's it! You will play about even or possibly at a slight advantage over the house, in the long run (months). Your bankroll can and will fluctuate wildly, UP AND DOWN, over hours, days, even weeks.
H. After playing for an hour or so, be sure to ask for free meals, etc. Act like you are having great fun in their wonderful casino!
I. Of course, never play in any BJ game where blackjacks pay only
6 to 5, or even money. And never play against Continuous Shuffle Machines if you are counting cards.
Have Fun!
