I am well into reading/studying Blackbelt in Blackjack. But can anyone shed any light on what the author is saying about the Hi-Lo Lite system? This is not like the Red Seven which is unbalanced. Snyder talks about the running count divided by the number of remaining decks x 2. Are n/decks multiplied by 2 because it's the only way to calculate the true edge? I don't quite understand the rationale. Maybe I am dense but I would be interested to know exactly what is being done here and why.
