True count conversion necessity for halves system
Hello. I m using the halves system. But because of the concern for working with decimal values, I doubled each number variation scheme and use these as the running count value. Now I believe I will have to divide by two each number, after the true count. Is this still valid?
Also, I think I read somewhere on the internet taht when using the halves system, there is no need to convert the running count into the true count. Is this true? Or is it an absolute must to convert the running count into the true count by dividing it by the discard tray size, as is done with the HILo system?
