Hi, I play in Australia and the rules are as follows:
No of decks:8
Dealer stands soft 17
Double 9,10,11 only
Double after split allowed
Dealer blackjack takes Original and Busted Bets Only (OBBO)
I use KO as my counting method. However, the BS chart in the KO book for basic strategy is quite different from the one generated at http://www.blackjackinfo.com/bjbse.php and some other websites.
1)The one generated at the mentioned website says do not split pair 8s versus dealer's 10 and A. Is this correct?
2)The KO book says hit pair 6s against dealer's 2. Is this correct?
3)The KO book says hit all pair 4s and never split them, not even against 5 or 6. Is this correct?
4) The KO book says hit pair 3s and 2s against dealers 2,3 instead of splitting them. Is this correct?
Thats about the differences I can find in the internet's BS charts comparing to the KO book. I use the KO method so its quite confusing if I should follow the book or the new internet charts as the book was first published quite some time ago.
