Reno hotel info request

Planning a 4-day trip next month to Reno. I've stayed at the Reno Hilton in the past, but recall the early morning jet departures from the nearby airport. Silver Legacy looks pricey, and I don't care to stay on the main drag.

Prefer a casino hotel, but am not averse to a Holiday Inn Express or something along those lines. Is Ascuga's Nugget in Sparks worth a shot?

Will be spending a day at South Lake Tahoe, perhaps an overnight here would easily fit into my plans.

Any suggestions welcome, thanks for the input.
