Question for Stanford Wong

Suppose given your BR and advantage, you have two choices:
(1) Bet one hand of $200;
(2) Bet two hands of $100 each.

I read ProBJ and have the following question:

If Case (1) is your optimal bet, then according to Stanford Wong,
the optimal bet for two hands is $150 each. In other words, if
Case (1) is the optimal bet, then Case (2) is an underbet. This has
greatly reduced the cover effect of two hands, because we know
that two hands tend to make your bet look "less". However, by playing
two hands, you put 50% more wager on the table to create essentially
the same effect.

I hope that I have clearly presented my point.

I would really appreciate it if Standford Wong could answer
this question. :-)

Best regards,

TJ
