Playign with Ace + 2 more cards (What to do?)

I'm new to 'serious' blackjack playing.

1st:
Dealer 4
Me A,2,2

2nd:
Dealer 7
Me A,2,4

How am I suppose to play these hands?

In the first hand, do I play my hand as a 15 or a (A,4)? If I play it has a 15 I should stand. If I play it as a (A,4), do I hit since I can't double.

In the second hand, do I play my hand as a 17 or a (A,6)? I stand with one hand and hit with the other.

TIA
