One or two hands

When I play two or multi-deck games, I use two hands. When I play one deck with a rule of 6, I use one hand and play alone. Soon, I will be travelling to a location which has one deck games with a rule of 7. With this rule of 7, would it be better to use one hand or two playing alone? I would prefer using two hands if I weren't disadantaged too much.
