I am playing BJ at The Palms in LV and get two 9's. I end up splitting all the way to 4 hands. After completing 2 of the hands, I get another 9 on the third hand. The dealer is looking at me like she is waiting for me to split again, so I ask if I can split again and she says, "yes, up to 6 hands". so i split again. i now have 3 open 9's remaining for a total of five hands. The dealer then deals a facecard on my 3rd 9. Before she deals a card on my 4th hand, the floorman comes over and notices the mistake. He pushes my 5th bet back to me and just puts my 5th 9 on my 4th 9 and tells the dealer to move on. I couldnt believe this and of course lost all 4 hands (including a double-down). My point is that once she established a 5th hand AND dealt another card, that 5th hand should have stayed in play. They wouldn't do anything for me and the NSGC seems very pro-casino so I doubt I will get anything back. Any thoughts are appreciated.
