MO Law on Player's Clubs??

Does anyone know the law in Missouri on Player's Clubs? Specifically, is it illegal to use an alias or alternate identity when signing up and/or buying in?

The reason I assume the law has something to say about this is the fact that in Missouri the player MUST present a card when buying in. When I tried to give a ploppy two red chips to compensate her for a lost bet, (cover play which I now realize is very effective, but ridiculously expensive) the dealer about freaked. It is illegal to give chips to another person.

If they are this strict on the buy in rules, I assume using a false identity is also illegal.

Anybody know?
