Mid Strip and Off Strip Rules

How are the games around the midstrip area. I have heard good things about the 2 deck games at Stardust and Casino Royale. Although, I hear the pen. at CR is starting to go downhill fast. Any others worth checking out in that area? Also, how are the off-strip places (not downtown)like Hard Rock, Terribles, San Remo, ect? Thanks for the input.
