Hi there, I have come across a game that offers a 2:1 payout on blackjacks but only if you have won the previous three hands in a row. I have found that if 2:1 blackjacks operated during an entire game that this is worth +2.27% to a player. Thus, if a house edge of 0.45% applied then 2:1 blackjacks would turn the game into a player advantage of +1.82% on basic strategy alone. Is this a correct assumption? But seeing as this 2:1 payout is limited to only after you've won three successive hands (pushes don't interrupt this, just three wins without a loss is how I understand it to work), what would be the impact on the overall edge? I have done some calculations and come up with a figure of reduced house edge to 0.27% if you flat bet. But if you increase your bet during this favourable time when you will receive the higher blackjack payouts, and then reduce it back to the minimum eg $1 the first hand after you lose, surely it would turn the overall game into player favourable? Isn't it much the same impact as increasing your bets when your TC is very positive?
Thx
