Hi to all,
writing from good "old" germany I hope my english is good enough to formulate my questions exactly.
I started KO counting and did already a lot of training sessions on PC. Well, it takes time to get used to but in the end I will succeed. Using the basic strategy for BJ (6 decks, S17, db on 9,10,11, DAS, up to 4 hands to be splitted, no surrender, BJ 3:2)I sometimes get in trouble dealing the right strategy. But see: assuming a very high running count (>10!)basic strategy tells me to stand on hard 16 versus dealers 10. Ok. But with a hard 12-14 you should hit. This I dont understand. If the deck is so rich in 10s and Aces Im risking to bust prior to the dealers busting.
Second question. At a count of -4 hard 16 is to stand versus dealers 10 but for hard 15 you should hit. Again a big question mark ?
So I come up with the main question why not to stand on all hard 12-16 if the dealer shows 7 -Ace assuming a count high enough above the key point ?
Thanks very much to all US counters (others as well) for support.
Regards from Germany
Bernhard
