I'm confused about the sequence people use. Do they train to keep the running count while also counting their updated hand at the same time, or do both individually? I feel like it's extremely difficult to do either way, let alone do it fast in a casino environment.
I keep trying to maintain the count but then I find that I stop because I'm analyzing my hand (using basic strat) and next move (then inevitably lose the count).. maybe I'm just not fast enough with basic strategy yet or something, but any help with this, and possibly true count conversions would be most appreciated!
Glad I found this site, there's tons of info on here! Maybe I can find the answer in another thread that someone else posted. :)
