Just starting

Hi. I am just starting out. Learned basic strategy for 1 deck and 6 deck games. I am about to start going over a specific counting strategy. Any suggestions? Me and my friends are gonna be going to Vegas in a month or so, so I would love to be able to come back with more money than I started out with. I'll probably be taking only 300 dollars or so, so I won't be "high-rolling." Any suggestions on what game and which casino to play at? Which counting strategy I should learn? Again keep in mind I'm a beginner, and I'm trying to minimize my losses in exchange for experience (or maybe even earn 20 bucks or so).
