Indian Casinos vs. Nevada Casinos

Is there any reason why - in general - blackjack at Nevada casinos is better than in casinos on Indian reservations?

I understand that Nevada gaming is strictly controlled by the state, with severe penalties for a casino cheating, etc. I have wondered if there are any legitimate suspicions of unfair blackjack games on reservations. My interest lies primarily in Indian casinos in California.
