How did you build your bankroll?

I'm looking for suggestions on how to build a bankroll to play 6 deck 25 dollar tables. From what I've read, I'd need about 10 grand. I'm considering doing the kamikazee thing with 5 or six hundred and starting on betting 100 a hand and just gambling until i get my roll. Any suggestions? Thanks.
