My first post and want to say how thrilled I am to have finally signed up. With that, my conundrum: my local (mega) casino, which has taken a real hit from Covid, just overhauled its BJ rules. Specifically, it changed the rules on its lower-limit tables ($25, mostly) to ones you could only find in high limits until now—basically going from a 8d h17 to 6d s17 game.
What am I missing here? Have the perks of high-rollerdom really been made available to the unwashed masses? (There is, after all, still a high-limit room.) As far as I can tell, pen looks about the same and my amateur eye can’t see any other difference between the new regime outside high-limits and the $100 min games inside. All things being equal, what are the tells I should be looking for here? The play still feels different and, believe me, there’s no way this (infamous) crew hasn’t made the lower-limit game harder to beat. Or am I wrong?
