First time in vegas..

Hello,
Kinda new to BJ.. I am not really looking to bring down the house.. but I am looking to play with some shot of doing well. Can anyone oint me to any resource for a casual player to get an upper hand. Does the basic strategy I have seen on other sites work? Whats the better game situation? Just looking for good info..
