I have bought many decks of cards from different casinos to be used for practicing deck estimation in order to get the true count. I have noticed that not all casinos cards are the same thickness. This presents a slight problem because the difference is enough that it throws off the tc conversion. I guess my question is has anybody else run into this problem and how do I know what type of cards a given casino is using? The only way I could think of doing this would be to go into the casino count 52 cards that come out and estimate the height in the discard rack, then use that as a base. Ive been practicing deck estimation for a while and these new cards I got from another casino are makeing me re evaluate my judgement. Anybody had any luck over coming this problem?
