Dealer Archtypes?

I haven't spent alot of time at the tables and I'm thinking in really general terms of what I should be prepared to see at the table as far as dealers are concerned. Are there certain types of deawlers I should avoid, how do I spot them before it's too late? Are there certain types of dealers to gravitate toward? These may sound like stupid questions but any insight into the matter would be greatly appreciated.
