COVERED SHOES AND COVERED DISCARD HOLDERS

I was out at Harrah's Casino were I go often and I noticed this weekend they just put in covered trays and covered discard holders. Needless to say, now there is no way to tell how many decks are left in a shoe or how many decks have been played. Harrah's has always been an industry leader in Bull Shit to the gambler. Any comments on the covered trays would be appreciated.
