How similar do the red and green chips look to color blind people?
I recently played with a gentleman who asked the dealer to give him only reds because he couldn't tell green chips from red ones, and I was somewhat surprised that I hadn't seen more color-blind blackjack players before. I know that there are high percentage of color-blind people, especially among male population. Are there any color-blind players on this board? Do you guys think it's harder to play blackjack in any way, and do you feel that you (collectively) go to casinos less frequently because of your color-blindness? Do you suppose you were ever cheated by casinos? Do you feel that you always need to go to casinos with companions?
Sorry for too many questions, but if somebody can give me some first-hand insight into this issue, I'd really appreciate it.
