Changing the flow?

The other day I was playing in Vegas. I was playing 6d, at times splitting to two hands, then back to one. It seemed to piss off other players at the table. One commenting to another under his breath "this guy is f*cking up the flow of cards". Huh? Is this guy referring to that Master The Flow BS I see on TV at 3am? or is there a legit gripe on his part about me messing up the flow for the table?
