California Pai Gow Poker Questions

Hi,

I am new to this board and was hoping someone can help me out with a little problem. I have read Stanford Wong's Pai-Gow Poker book where he said he would not feel comfortable with anything less than a $50,000 bankroll. Unfortunately, there wasn't much talk about bankroll fluctuations and the like. Does anybody know what kind of fluctuation (and risk of ruin) one would have with a bankroll this size and banking, say $1,000 a hand with the $2 ante and an average expectation of 1.5% vs. 6 other players? What is the optimum amount to bank per hand? What has been your experiences? Thanks!
