blackjack industry

Is blackjack a dying industry. I have recently been posting multiple inquiries about the success rate of this game and I have received a response that worries me. This person seems very knowledgeable about this game but I just wanted to get a few opinions. This person stated that within the next 5 to 10 years, the game will be adjusted so much that it will no longer be possible to make a living off it.
