Basic Strategy & Playing 2 Positions

If a person plays perfect BS is there any advantage of playing two positions for $25 verses playing one for $50 under the following rules? (Not a counter)...or two for $25 verses playing one hand for $25?

6 Deck, S17, RSA, DOA, 3/2 BJ, and late surrender...

Just may be a stupid question, but that's why I'm here to ask.
