Year end - Amateur's Night... Gambling!
Anybody who has good knowledge of bj and has played on year ends Dec. 31/Jan. 1, must have experienced that it is time for the amateurs... and luck chasers. I call it the long "Amateur's Night". Nothing but the craziest and the drunk, and those filled with wanton greed but not much more by way of knowing the rudiments of the game- those in great haste to lose their bucks. And, they will leave not before they lose it all.
