Winning when the Count is Positive

I must doing something wrong. I have played dozens of shoes every time I go to the casino, and wait for a positive count or a true count of at least +3, sometimes +2. The dealer always seems to get the 19's, 20's, and blackjacks. Every so often another player gets a few 20's. What am I missing????

It's happened to all us. BJ is a grind where you have an advantage in the long run, assuming you count and bet right. Anything can happen in a day, week, month, or even year or more. I feel your pain and have been there.

Obviously you haven't been bringing your voodoo doll to hex the dealer.

Laugh it off. Make sure you're well-bankrolled. Re-analyze your play. For me, I was driving/playing too much. Now I make sure I'm well-rested.

I'll post a unique situation that happened to me several years afo at Mohegan Sun, when I get the time.

One of my worst situations ever was when I sat at a table with an RC of 15-20, a TC of 5-7. There were two players and me and one player left the table. So I ready to win many hands and a lot of money, when three girls sat down and placed $10 bets.

All three of the girls got blackjacks and I busted. On the next round two of the girls got blackjack and the other got a 20. They all won and I lost. The next hand two got blackjack and the other a 20, while I lost again. On the fourth round only one got a blackjack and the two others got 20, while I lost again.

All three got up and left the table saying blackjack was such an easy game.

By this time the running count was down to ZERO !

I would have gotten all the aces and tens that they gobbled up (Thanksgiving) from me while playing such an easy game, as they said.
