Any thoughts on Laughlin? I am going for the weeeknd and I was wondering where the best place to play is?

Edgewater
Pioneer
All others are worth a look, but sometimes it takes a careful look to find anything worthwhile.
I played a SD game there this past summer. RO6. Had that "first hand is a blackjack" side-bet. But overall the game seemed to be decent. An asian female dealer dealt RO7 to me for almost 45 minutes (mid-afternoon, weekday, not busy, this was a heads-up game at a $5 min table.) Are you saying that game is simply not worthwhile, or that it is gone now?

Ro7 is unusual there. Ro6 is the most common, and the one table is usually crowded. Ro6 D10 is not great, and any decent stakes are sweated. The store is a low-roller grind joint, as are Edgewater and Pioneer. (As is all of Laughlin, but in my opinion, those three are the worst.)
There may be situations when it would be worth playing the one table at C Belle, but they are few and far between. The rest of the games at C Belle are total garbage. My suggestion is that the original poster's time in Laughlin would be better spent looking at casinos that have more than one table with that one table being only sometimes playable.
I was there early afternoon, weekday. Place was _not_ rocking as the MGM usually is almost all the time. Main + for the SD game was that there was nobody else playing, and I've occasionally found that if I play heads-up, and play extremely quickly, the dealers get a bit lax on shuffling.
I didn't really scout the place carefully and didn't remember there was only one SD table, as the place was nearly deserted when I was there.
I was spreading basically $5-$40 usually starting at $10 after the shuffle. Nary a look, although I can barely remember anyone in the pit things were so laid back... We had been to Oatman and were using Laughlin as a rest break on the way back to Vegas... I personally liked Fremont far better for SD/DD games back around July 4.
Fremont _street_. Particularly Binions where I played several days... And the Plaza where I played DD on the same walk-arounds...
