A couple of casinos in the Palm Springs area, Fantasy Springs and Agua Caliente, have S-17 shoes but no late surrender. One lets you resplit aces and the other does not. Do not get there often but one of them has a pretty good double deck game if you can find decent pen. May have changed since my last visit, so get confirmation.
Hunting for pen of course is always a key in any game.
