I'm using Hi-OptI and was wondering at what point do I split tens, I think it would be fun to do if it's still in my advantage to do so. I'm learning the little things one at a time, I already take insurance and I'm working on an Ace side count and I figured splitting tens would be a good thing to learn. Where can I find the rest of the indicies for this count.
The indices are in "the world's greatest BJ" book. They might be online somewhere also (probably cardcounter.com). Just to give you an educated guess, split 10s against 5 and 6 when the true count is +4 or above.
When I split 10's I get more heat from players than the pit. It's a better play when there is no players around to call you an idiot for their losses. It also saves the embarassment.
