What the Hell happened!!!

I was gone from blackjack for four or five years and all the good DD & SD games are gone. You all burn them out or what? I had always been able to find good games in Shreveport(gone),Tunica(gone or at best very very rare), & Gulf Port (haven't been yet, but fear the same), but now are all mostly a waste of time. Found some single deck in Tunica, 6/5 that I will not play, and some double deck in both places, both with 50% pen at best, using Hi/Lo and Ill.18 is very low edge and not worth the truble. I have never played shoe games just pitch. Sounds like I'm in trouble. Any tips on any areas to find good pitch games in say within three states(or so)of Texas? Or must I become a wonger in shoe games? Or learn new skills other than counting.

All the places you spoke of. The thing now is you got to hunt them up.

I will plan a blackjack trip (not work) and see what I can find. I was only at each destination for three or four hours but did walk every casino and left all with out playing a single hand. I just don't want to put four and eight hours travel time in just to walk the floors again and play no hands. Thanks for the info, I will see what I can hunt down.

Last time I was in Tunica, the DD games basically sucked out loud -- mostly for reasons you stated, but also because of overcrowded tables.

But the conditions and low heat at the 6D games made switching over quite worthwhile.

Even with the H17 shoe games it was worthwhile? I have a difficult time wanting to play those without LS.

Were you doing more than just playing a straight count game?

This was back in Feb 06; and the pen was rather good at that particular place.
