Think in terms of SCORE
The advantage alone doesn't address variance which affects your risk. SCORE is used to make apples to apples comparisons among different strategies. You can read more in Blackjack Attack.
That being said, accordings to http://www.qfit.com/cvcxonlineviewer.htm, following are the SCORES for the various scenarios you listed. The site doesn't have Ace-5 so I omitted it. You can read about comparisons with it here: http://wizardofodds.com/blackjack/wizardcount.html. In general, it's a poor system. In its stead, I added KO preferred.
1D H17 cards cut off = 26
HiLo: 50.14
KO: 52.47
HiOptI (ace side count): 50.61
RPC: 56.33
2D H17 DAS cards cut off = 42
HiLo: 27.41
KO: 28.21
HiOptI (ace side count): 28.31
RPC: 31.75
Personally, given a choice, I would use KO over the other systems. It's just as powerful and a lot simpler. Even simpler and just as powerful is reKO. You can read about it here: http://www.qfit.com/rekostrategy.htm.
