RGE is down tonight, and then I saw this post at another website...
Can someone who knows say what is going on?

I did a little checking on the "whois" server, and two days ago rge21 and advantageplayer were both registered to Viktor, set to expire 02/11/05. As of today, this is no longer the case. The details have been "hidden" by intentional misuse of the whois database (or so the error message reads).
Maybe someone from rge21.com wants to comment? Viktor, what's going on?
works fine for me now, showing the right name/company/etc... You might have caught it in the act of being updated...
whois is giving the results again for www.advantageplyaer.com
Whatever happened with whois coincided with www.advantageplayer.com being unavailable, which also coincided with the statement on Snyder's site (Fight Club) that something was happening there.

So, I am just trying to figure out what is going on since no one seems willing to share.
On the "fight club". Didn't know what to make of it since there was no other reference to any sort of rge21 problem.
So, for me, "no idea" is the response to the question "what is going on?" :) Seems to be back to normal, so might have just been a server glitch, or some sort of backup/restore activity to correct some sort of problem... maybe someone will post an explanation over there at some point in time...
I have no clue about the server issues you raised and don't really care since the site is now fine. But I think that you misinterpreted the string of messages at Snyder's site. I suspect that the "break up" you reference has to do with old history between prior owners and/or principals of RGE and nothing current.
It is just so coincidental that the post in question went up the same day that ap.com was unavailable, I picture even Columbo getting that one wrong.

RGE goes off line for 2 hours and you wonder why? The First Church of Blackjack has been dark for several years and nobody seems to care.
