Against my better judgement and because all the tables were full I played Digital 21 for the first (& last) time.
It was a 4deck shoe. Dealer hits s17, resplit aces, exc.
I played heads up w/ the dealer & won 1 out of 13 hands. Lost the first 3, hit a BJ, and then subsequently lost 9 in a row. I was wondering if someone could give me the odds on this happening?
Also, do casinos purchase these machines or are the 'leased'?
I have a degree in Computer Programming, I don't do it as a Job, but I still have a somewhat knowledgable understanding of programming.
Everytime I'm in the casino these Digital 21 tables are empty. If they are leased and the Maker of Digital 21 was taking a % of all the action or something like that I know they could write something simple that says we need to win so many hands per hour.
I'm rambling a little because I'm upset, but I know even though I'm a few years removed from programming I could write a blackjack program to STEAL people's money.
Any input from everyone would be greatly appreciated...I'll try to stop foaming at the mouth now.
