The Zen master lost
But somehow helped me win.
About four months ago at a strip joint I am playing at a table with an elder oriental gentleman at third, who had tons of superstitions. Be decided upon his bet by the following scientific method while playing two hands: First he grabbed a large stack of green chips and divided them, if they divided equally each stack was placed in a bet circle, if not then only one chip went into each circle. When faced with a tough decision on hitting, doubling or splitting he would again grab chips and see if the total was even or odd which of course told him what to do.
I have a $250 bet out there, land up splitting to four hands, doubling on two of them and landing up (wonderful cards) with a high hand of 15 with 6 bets on the table. Dealer has a five, oriental gentleman has 20 on one hand and the other he has a 4,2 pulls out his stack of chips divides them and decides to stand. Dealer turns a 6 for 11. then a 2, A and 9 for a bust. $3,000 swing for me thanks to the psysic chips and a story to tell ploppies who are sure that bad moves ruin the flow.
By the way for some unknown reason to me, all this talent did not seem to work for the gentleman at third as he lost a ton, but he could play at my table anytime because when he is there instead of a full table it shortly will become him, me and the dealer.
