I was wondering if it is illegal to have a hidden camera at the table to videotape your play so you can review later or have a trusted advisor review it. Is it against the law?
you have to blend in. If they see you with an electronic gagit, they will either make you turn it off and put it away or maybe confiscate it. If they catch you doing something different, they will watch you more. You cannot do things out of what appears to be "the norm". Learn to talk the talk and walk the walk of the typical ploppy, but all the while, make money during the process.
I meant something hidden like an eyeglass cam or something like that.
If it is somehow seen, it will be thought to be a cheasting device. The hassle you will endure is not worth it. Instead, practice and analyze your play in the safety of your own home with software.
Thanks, I was thinking about it so I guess it's a bad idea. BTW, have you seen Card Count King with Tommy Hyland, the where he lost like 7k and they threw him out. Somebody with him must have had one but I don't know if it was set up or what. Like if you wanted to do a documentary on your life could somebody stand there and tape it? I am not second guessing I just am confused about that program and would probably play witha hidden camera given the chance to to a reaqlity tv show or documentary if compensated enough. Did the shopkeepers have to sign a release or something like that? you would think that they would be liable for selling the kid alcohol or vice versa. It would be amusing if you could pull it off and post it here after the tape is purged or if it's off the hard drive. I am sure some people here have some acts that would be amusing even if you didn't know they were counting.
I will practice at home with software and don't want the hassle if caught but if you guys saw me in the casino you would laugh your asses off.
If they can videotape then you can videotape. However, if there are signs posted against photos or if you are asked to stop and you don't then you can have your film confiscated. They can do this because a casino is an owner's private property to do with as he sees fit.
