WARNING: NOVICE ALERT!!
I'm going to Vegas in 2 weeks and have been learning basic strategy (not counting). I have a couple of questions:
1. Is there a difference between playing the machines vs. at the tables? Or do only the rules matter, not the method?
2. Is there a place on the strip with 3:2 payout machines?

The worst bj table game is probably better than any BJ machine. I'm only guessing, but the developers know you'll probably use basic strategy and they can counteract your attempt. At the BJ tables games, they have no such control and using basic strategy will demonstrate just how close the game really is. Flat bet at the table game(don't increase your bet) and let the game show you what I mean.
You may as well flip a coin on decision hands on the machines. Besides, tables are a lot more fun than sitting by yourself staring at a screen.
