Vegas ,stay wher?

I and a friend will be visiting Las Vegas on Mar 30,31,and Apr.1, this being tues.thru thursday. Anyone have a reccomendation's or do I keep mine? Hotels or good bj games?

The riverboats around here have been cold for me on the blackjack tables ,taking my biggest losses on New Yr's eve. Empress Joilet having the best game.

It all depends on what level you play at. You should try to find a hotel that deals good games within your means so that you have the best chance to get as much of your room and/or food charges comped. Better yet, stay at one place and eat elsewhere.

Last time I stayed d.t. at Horseshoe. This time proably Harrah's or Rio.

I hope to get in some exercise or physical fun when I am not gambling. Also , me and buddy will go to one show.

We will also be in Phoneix visting famly, friends and the Cubs.

I also hope to visit the Green Chip store in Vegas too.

location, right in the middle of the strip and does have good double deck games in most budget ranges...these games are watched closely and if you are backed off they will zero out your comp balance leaving you hanging with the bill. Lower level players don't have to worry about them being nasty about it.

I like to stay at Harrah's on coupons and stiff them putting in my play and getting meals elsewhere.

Right next to Harrah's is the best craps game in LV at Casino Royale where they have $1 craps with 100x odds.

I'm wondering if it is illegal for a casino to zero out earned comp credits when 86'ed or backed-off.??? In some places, earned comp credits are redeemable for cash.

It sucks but read the fine prnt (I do mean fine, get a maginfying glass) on your card or any paperwork you signed when you got your card. The casinos usually have a disclaimer about such things. It usually starts with "management reserves the right".

it is illegal for them to zero out your cashback balance...but not for them to take away comps. Note, if the backoff is polite they may decide to leave comps intact...however several associates have had their comps erased by Harrah's. The practice is also very common in Atlantic City and at the two indian casinos in CT.

Word to the wise, if you've got a good VP play at a casino...don't shit where you eat...in otherwords...don't play blackjack at a place where you want to play VP...or at the least play blackjack under a completely different name/players card.

Guess I'm not up to speed on this. I'll read the fine print. I want to see how it's worded. I'm not convinced it's legal to take something away that has already been legally earned.

Another good reason why I will continue to not use a card when I play. I just get them at casinos I don't want to play at. I just want their free stay promos.

It's getting more difficult to convince the pc's of my 'superstitious' reasons for not having or wanting a card. It's a thin line to walk.

your cashback is earned through points on your cards then its not cash back till redeemed, its just points. Casino can and will zero out your points, thats right take them away, make them disappear. It is within their right (so they think) to do so. How many they've done this to I can't say. But as sh**y as it is thats what has happened. I've seen them revoke comps and charge everything to players credit cards. Now that is a bummer. I know I've seen it happen just recently. This is a public board so I can't say who or where. But I think my word is good enough. Now if you've trespassed and your not allowed back on any of their properties then what good are the points anyway? So remember as the man says "don't shit where you eat".

By the way remember to ask (VP & slots only) how are your points earned by "coin in" or "coin out".

cannot be taken away in Nevada...Cashback has been considered a contractual arrangement by Nevada Gaming Commission and they have in fact forced casinos to pay cashback when they previously attempted to just take it away.

I don't think the gaming commissions in other jurisdictions would disagree about this.
