Didn't you know that the cards rearrange themselves when someone doesn't make the "right" play? Really. The shoe sorts itself such that the dealer makes his hands when someone plays contrary to what I like to call "ploppy basic strategy (never split 9s, etc)". Then it re-sorts itself again to "mess up the whole shoe"! I didn't think this really happened, but a ploppy explained it to me the other day. He complained to a novice player at the table this his (the novice) standing on his 16 vs the dealer 10 caused the whole table to lose. He was getting killed the whole time I was there (and while the table made the "right" plays, by the way) but then, the round after his explanation, everyone at the table hit their stiffs and got low cards to make their hands -- and the dealer busted. Know what he said? He said, "SEE!!!" LOL! He tapped out a few hands later.
