CEO Richard Brown of Stratophere Casino replaces Ex-CEO Herbert Wolfe, CPA of AC Sands Casino. It gets to be good news for AC card counters because anybody will be better than Wolfe who f*ucked up Sands by canning lots bj tables. A Wolfe's reason for doing so was to save money, i.e., cutting out bj dealers & floormen to save labor costs. Wolfe really didn't understand the old saying: "it takes money to make money!" How the hell that he is a CPA when he didn't understand that money concept! Hey Wolfe, if you are reading this, here is a good real story about how it takes money to make money (not cutting out money to make money):
A nearly-bankrupted Joe's Fancy Seafood Buffet Restaurant (DBA Joe Buffet) was turned into a cash cow because his new experienced-CPA (Katz) taught the owner the money-makes-money concept.
Joe Owner was walking on the thin ice until he was rescued by Katz. Joe started the restaurant with his own $300,000 cash & a bank loan of $500,000. After running the business for 6 months, Joe failed to get enough of businesses to keep him afloat. Katz suggested to Joe that the billboard advertising would be the key to turn his business around. Joe got nothingelse to lose, so he agreed to have his business advertized on 2 billboards, 1 on Route 4 and 1 on Route 46. The cost & related info of the billboard are as follow:
Rt 4: $15,000 per month
Rt 46: $15,000 per month
--------------
Total $30,000
=======
The advertising contract was limited to 2 consecutive months only. Then Joe needed to get on the waiting list to have his open spots again.
The billboards worked out really well for Joe. When the motorists saw the Joe's advertiments, they would turned off Rt. 4 or Rt. 46 and dropped by Joe's. They tasted Joe's delicious buffets and liked them very much. They would returned for more. For example, Joe got 2,000 customers on a typical Saturday ($50,000 sales), and 80% of motorists confirmed that the billboards were the reason why they dropped by the 1st time. The rest was history...It takes money to make money! Get it, Wolfe?
