I have yet to see a good player get bounced out of a shoe game. Usually they are banished from the single and double deckers to the shoe game or expelled from the casino altogether. As for Wonging out of a shoe during negative counts-not a good idea, try wonging down instead.

What would be unusual is to see a player backed off from a handheld game, but be told he could play a shoe game (not a CSM) at the same casino, which is what your post implies, unless I misunderstood.

Sure, no problem. We are always playing two hands off the top of the shoe. When the count rises, so do the bets. When the count falls, likewise we drop to maybe one hand for the minimum, in lieu of not playing at all. The clarification you solicited. And thanks. Now I am on my way to play. Adios.

I thought regicydes331 was saying that a casino told a player he can't play single or double deck games there, but CAN play shoe games.

That is exactly what he said. He is also encouraging not to wong out but to "wong down"... whatever that means (I liked my idea of wonging down under the table). He feels it is better to not leave the table, but drop to the table min bet and flat bet. Sounds like he is easy to spot as a counter.
