Turning 21 in a year.. suggestions to get me ready for the big time?

Well, i've been in at this game since i turned 19 years old, and i'm still going strong. I think i'm going to take some time off though and increase my bankroll. I've been forced to play 6 and 8 deck shoes and they are just not that profitable, especially with my low bankroll that i have. I've learned a lot though in the year i've been playing, and it's prepared me for when i do finally turn 21 and can hit up some more lucrative casinos. Does Vegas offer the best games in America? Are there any special skills i should master for one, 2, and even 4 deck games? The system i'm using now is a modified TKO counting system. It works well for the shoes and i think i'm going to stick with it for the single, and double deck. But i do have a year to master another system if there is a system that will give me a reasonable EV gain. Any suggestions from the pros? Blackjack is definately not going to replace my day job, but it is probably going to be a life-long hobby of mine.

The first thing you should do is build a bigger bankroll. If you know basic strategy one of the best ways to do this is by playing BJ onLine. You are right by saying your are working against a small house edge of say -.22 vs the one deck game I usually play against. But let's imagine a casino that you can sit down at the table and put $100 down and get $200 to play with. They shuffle after every hand, so you will never be betting more than table minimum. They won't let you go with their money unless you sit for say an hour or two, then you are free to go.

That is what is happening onLine. No casino or hotel to spend hydro on. No big people eating your buffet into oblivion. Very low over head means you can afford to give people money to play with. The average person will come in, blow their $100 and the casinos $100 and get double their fun for the money. A slot players dream come true. But we are not your average player. Basically it is a coupon system, you are right. The advantage is guaranteed. If you can play perfect basic strategy, bet table minimum, leave your money in there for a few weeks so they don't know you are a "Bonus Bandit," you will be quickly surprised at how fast you can get a whack of money together.
