Lake Tahoe Trip Report:
Great weather, beautiful scenery. Played dd tables and 6-d shoe. Started aggressively with two hands and big play. Lady luck was neutral for sometime and after 30 minutes I changed tables. I won't stay at any table that is not moving ahead max. for 30 mins. Another try and this one made me loose two markers as psychologically I tend to be an aggressive starter especially after a long period of non-activity. That's one thing I must be on guard and as I'm heading to Reno this wknd invited for Superbowl party, I will have another go of it.
Another table (6-d) and now I'm down 3 markers and my credit is line is down the drain 75%! Still chasing the right table and it's midnight. I do not gamble all night as my comfort means to me more than chasing my losses. However, I felt good and stayed another hour. Had a good streak and withing that time recovered 90% of my losses of the day and trip.
The following day we went to movies and enjoyed "A Beautiful Mind" that was about the story of a great mathematician (John Hansen) who was schizoprenic and delusional. Later, moved to another casino and played dd and recovered rest of my losses from the previous day.
Decided to leave early in order to avoid the forecast storm. Had my start been successful and my wins had come first rather late, I would have settlet for modest profits as MM calls for blocking wins above 50% of wins on my session BR.
I was happy to recover on this trip as I'll be going this weekend and would modify my approach to start in moderate betting and not pushing it the way I did on this trip.
