Your post reveals who the immature is.
No wonder why many experienced card counters dont post here anymore, I usually dont either but thought I might be of some help and add a little insight of what I have experienced at the tables for well over 10 years in regards to tipping. I have not criticized you for giving your "easy" answer, have I?
Depending on what we are trying to achieve-- what works well for one individual- may not work as well for another. You are trying to compare two individuals (DD and I) who have totally different goals and concepts of blackjack, you are also trying to rehash a dispute that I had on GC which was very controversial. It is my understanding DD' started playing serious blackjack about 4 years ago and has a short term goal of getting barred out of all casinos by betting big in hopes of a nice return of profit. If this were my goal I probably wouldn't care to tip either.
My goal is to enjoy a modest edge of profit for years to come, so far I seem to be doing fine.
I wonder...what our game would be like if all card counters had a reputation as arrogant jerks who are tightwads that never tip, enough said?
I think sooooooo.
