Thee Count iz Back!!!!!

Greetings fellow players,

Some of you have wondered why you did not hear from me in answer to Roger Harris's Post on, 'Well I'm not at liberty to say it'.

But I've been let back on the list providing:

1) I do not talk about a certain subject in reference to our beloved game.

2) And that I only make two posts or relys per day. Yes, they spotted an Irishman!

I would appeciate as would the staff if you do not talk of the subject nor will I give you feedback upon it via my private email.

I had merely in BJ altruism wanted to share a gift with fellow players; to be a contributor. If one does not buy into it, it's futile on my part to share my secret to success. A lot like my past attempts to persuade a avid progressionist about the reality of BS and counting; he would not believe without seeing a cadilac and a million dollar home from the counter's winnings!

So if you are puzzled just go do a search using my handle and eventually you may realize what my 'edge' was. But I'm not going to discuss it; either one is ready or they are not!

I'm looking forward to some great civil discussions with many of you with AP skills and complete novices.

I might add, my 'edge' is working out marvelously, on mere $3-5 tables, with occassional $10 min., and socking an average range of $300-500 per day. Of course you may not beieve it, but I play less than 4 hours perday, and sometimes luck has it that I make a thousand. I have experimented without using the edge, as friends claim it's my skill, not the 'edge', only to taste dissaster occasionally.

So I'm still in the trenches and advancing the DMZ with the lot of you. And NO, I'm not a purist counter nor progressive, but give up a slight edge to maintain my oppritunity to play.

I WOULD ASK AGAIN, to not discuss what I do, as a gentleman; I am BARRED from using the words just as some of you are barred from BJ but you can play machines and other games in some casinos!

We've talked incessantly about the odds that one day the 'hard shell progressionist' runs into a bad day when his sysyem fails.

Revere, in 'Playing Blackjack as a Business', in his 190 days play, shows he lost 1 out of 4 days. Or, he took about four steps forward and one back in the course of his developed counting.

What my edge does is tells me when to be there and when to go do something else!

Wylie, I had this friend who was a solid Progressionist. At one time he was up $280,000 using pure Progression in BJ in Vegas. Probally on a great transit from Heaven hiting him giving him Phenomenal Luck! But Like we both know he eventually bottomed out, Last time I talked to him he lost enough to put down for a house in one session. Like many counters who were totally stuck in statistics alone, he wouldn't even listen to the Basic Stadegy or Counting Arguments!

And for those who do not want to use the EDGE I use; DON'T!!!

Let me keep doing as I do, and others can put their head in the sand like an ostrich and not even listen.

*IF* you read my post yesterday, it would be gentlemanly not to mention the art I use, because whether it works or not I'm not allowed on this forum to discuss it. I'm after statistics and percentages, and I'll mention what works for me. I don't have the Mathematical Degree of The Mayor, nor will I write any books on all I'm doing like our great host, Stanford Wong; whose books I cut my BJ teeth on.

The more I think about it, I think you are the same person as all the others I've seen before.

On any site the owner allows one priviledges, not nessasarily rights like the 'Freedom of Speech'; so I thought I made it clear I can't discuss it now.

But you can look up my old posts in SEARCH at the top of this board or rather page and piece together what I did as my edge.

And YES, I use a combination of Counting and Progressions, and Practice religiously as if I were Islamic the charts Revere advocates like 5-count, Plus Minus, BS, etc.

But that's not what my EDGE consists of. As you are possible aware most progressions will eventually fail around 1% to 5% of the time. If one knew how to avoid that 1-5% downside, one could capitalize on progression and counting.

It's like the poker guru Mike Caro said about the game, a continuous flow of hands. Knowing when to be there and when not to be in the 'game flow' is the key.

Of course in the 'longrun' Counting will pay out, but who wants to be caught in the 'short run storms'?

As far as drumzl's comments, since by agreement I will not post but two per day, giving my old handle just gives one the possiblity of piecing the puzzle together from past dialoguges. And I'm not into 'flame wars' It's a shame some people have no where else to go, and get off on this type of thing.

It's obvious. He bets when he's gonna win. He doesn't bet when he'd lose, except one hand in forty or so to fool the bosses. Yupe, he's really cleaning up on those single-deck Tahoe games.

I know what you're thinkin': how do he do that? I mean, know when he's gonna win or not before betting. Like I said, boy, are you guys dumb. Just be glad he's here to tell ya's about it. It's so kind of him to do dat.
